Hunter ICC Controllers
This new controller is the ideal choice to run irrigation systems at virtually any commercial
siteschools, parks, sports fields, hotels, and apartment buildingsbecause it's "built" by combining sets of 4- or 8-station
"modules." Such personalized construction allows custom tailoring that more effectively handles the odd number of stations
a system may require. In addition, all the features that one could want are here, including dial programming, a large easy-to-read
display, programmable master valve, 365-day calendar clock, rain sensor bypass, seasonal adjustment that adapts to changing
climatic conditions, and Hunter's simplified user setup. With its ability to handle 48 stations, the ICC offers the ultimate
in flexibility for accommodating the different irrigation needs of turf, shrubs, and flowerbeds, as well as any special watering
restrictions.
Irritrol® Systems Electric Globe/Angle Valves
2400/2600 Series The 2400 Series globe and the 2600 Series angle valves are popular with users
because of the convenience of their threaded bonnets, the reliability of their double-beaded diaphragm, and the durability
of their heavy-duty, corrosion- and UV-resistant PVC construction.
Fast and easy to install and service, these 1" residential
plastic valves offer an encapsulated solenoid, an optional flow control feature, and a choice of NPT or slip configuration.
The
2400 Series and the 2600 Seriesthe easy choice for convenience and performance.

Toro DL2000tm Series Irrigation
System
Complex design challenges. The simple subsurface solution.
Toro DL2000 -- the most technologically advanced subsurface irrigation system available. Through revolutionary
ROOTGUARD® technology, DL2000 prevents
emitter clogging while delivering optimal water application directly to the root zone. DL2000 is perfect for odd-shaped designs,
median strips, public recreation areas and residential property -- any place where sprinklers don't fit the application.
|
- Patented ROOTGUARD technology guard against
root intrusion
- Flexible, sturdy design fits into unusual spaces
- Easy to install requires minimal maintenance
- Pressure-compensating emitters for uniform water
application |
Environmentally Friendly. The DL200 Series by Toro offers pressure-compensating emitters to control
flow variations, delivering equal amounts of water to every emitter on slopes, long lines and hilly terrain. Since irrigation
takes place at or below grade, there is minimal water loss due to mist, evaporation, runoff or wind -- so water use
can be cut by up to 50%.
Since water is going right to the root source, subsurface water application decreases the
need for chemigation or fertigation to maintain the health of your landscape. This in turn reduces the impact of chemicals
on the environment.

Safer Surroundings. Since DL2000 can be installed below ground, the landscape surface is free from
irrigation equipment that may disrupt activities or cause injury to playing children, joggers, walkers and maintenance
crews.
DL2000 delivers water at or below grade, minimizing slippery walkways caused by irrigation runoff or overspray
-- further reducing potential liability while maintaining the beauty of your landscape.

Root Intrusion Prevention. Toro DL2000 dripline features patented ROOTGUARD® technology,
which prevents roots from clogging irrigation emitters. The pre-emergent, TREFLAN®, is impregnated
into the emitter during the molding process and requires virtually no maintenance. There are no filters to change. No
chemically treated disks to handle.
Once DL2000 dripline is installed in the ground, the slow release of TREFLAN
creates a barrier around the emitter. Roots are directed away from the emitter opening ensuring optimal water application.
- Root-intrusion protection through ROOTGUARD
- Eliminates maintenance time and cost
- Guaranteed trouble-free root-intrusion protection
|

DL200 emitters are made with the DTechtm automatic flushing feature, to allow the emitters to self-clean throughout
the irrigation cycle. First, water flows through a winding labyrinth path of right-angled channels within the emitter. This
process prevents sediments from settling and clogging the emitter. Then, the DTech feature is activated, allowing debris
or accumulated particles to be flushed out. DTech works at startup, shutdown and throughout the irrigation cycle.
And,
the patented ROOTGUARD protection embedded in each DL2000 dripline emitter ensures that the discharge outlet will not
become pervaded with roots
/brochure_pics/precise.gif) |
|
|
Precise Water Application. Toro DL2000 eliminates overspray and potential water damage by delivering
water at the roots, not through the air. Flowers and shrubs recieve the precise amount of water to ensure beauty and
health. And the irrigation system leaves no water marks on expensive walls, glass, signage or hardscape. Because there
is no spray, these handscape will not deteriorate or discolor over time. |
Design Flexibility. DL2000 irrigation systems fit narrow and odd shaped landscape perfectly. Irrigate
trees, shrubs, ground cover and turf in virtually any landscape area where sprinklers are impractical. And DL2000 1/4"
mircoline tubine is ideal for small, tight areas.
Impeccable landscape design requires creativity. Toro DL2000 offers
maximum flexibility so you can provide creative solutions for the most challenging design areas. |

Biobarrier Buried Drip Irrigation Systems
Buried drip irrigation systems offer an efficient and cost-effective way to irrigate crops. They
use less water than above-ground systems because they deliver water directly to the plant roots, so excess evaporation and
agricultural diseases associated with moist leaves are avoided. Additionally, the drip irrigation systems can bring systemic
insecticides to roots in slow, controlled doses.
Unfortunately, roots often clog drip emitters in buried drip irrigation systems, and this tendency
severely limits the service life of a valuable irrigation technology.
Now, through a unique marriage of polymer and root-growth inhibitor, researchers at Battelle's
Pacific Northwest Laboratories have created long-term, controlled-release devices that establish a barrier zone where plant
roots cannot grow. Called "Biobarrier," the devices exclude plant roots for up to 100 years.
The Biobarrier for drip irrigation applications is engineered to exclude plant roots from drip
emitters for up to 20 years. Buried drip irrigation systems protected with the Biobarrier offer all the benefits of the buried
drip irrigation technology without the problem of root intrusions.
Battelle-Northwest's Biobarrier technology excludes plant roots from drip emitters for up to 20
years.
